    PTZ5A4M-25X Tracking issues - Dahua SD5A425GA-HNR

My camera reliably overshoots both directions. It seems to over shoot further right-to-left (counter-clockwise) than left-to-right, but not more often one way or another. However, several things complicate the answer. Vehicles moving right to left (counter-clockwise) usually go faster than...

Admin Commands to local console - help to get them to work...

I'm not using the web server. Just the BI display you get when you launch the application. The Web Server is not enabled. It sounds, from your response, like these commands can not be used with the internal display, only with the web server. Is that correct?

    ONVIF Key value

For anyone who stumbles across this post - I was wrong. The key value is a counter of some kind - it keeps incrementing, sometimes in jumps - and does not indicate the kind of item detected.

    ONVIF Key value

Some cameras - the Dahua ones I have - generate ONVIF messages that have a "Key" value (as reported by ONVIF Device Manager). This key value for IVS messages seems to indicate the object type detected by the camera (e.g. "Objectid 6292" appears to be vehicles) How can I set up an ONVIF rule in...

Stupid question about Dahua Camera Direct Web Interface

I actually resolved this a while ago but I forgot to update this thread. The camera web server recognizes the camera has having PTZ though it doesn't really. When you configure PTZ positions they are highlighted in the live view as a group of boxes. Clicking off the live view at the bottom of...

Stupid question about Dahua Camera Direct Web Interface

I have an IPC-T58IR-ZE-S3 with the V5.01.0.1879124 web server. On the live view I have somehow managed to enable a display with one main window, a number of colored outline boxes in the main window, and a number of smaller windows surrounding the main window, outlined with matching colors...
