    For my Linux VM, no problem backing up the entire VM while the OS is running. For my Windows BI VM, I have to shut down the VM before backing up, usually takes 15 minutes to back up 60GB of VM or so.

    You have an interesting issue indeed. I'd factory default the camera, leave everything default and just change the password and try to add then see.

    "unauthorized" to me points to username/password. Change to a different user/password on the camera and try again.

    Did you set the ONVIF user name and password as same as the AXIS user root?

    Camera is a precision tool, if you want License Plate Recognition, you can forget overall view and facial recognition. It sounds like you need three cameras.

    To add the camera as generic onvif, you'll have to enable onvif within the web interface of AXIS P3245-LV by adding an account and giving it a user name and password before adding it in BlueIris.

    Camera are precision tool and it is only great at one thing. It sounds like you'd need two cameras to do what you want. At work, I use a Q1798-LE to capture license plate, and a P1467-LE for overview.

    Assign NO gateway address to it and no DNS server. It won't be going to internet and internet can't get to it.

    Yes, you upload your custom response via the Reolink app, then reload the Reolink integration in Home Assistant and Home Assistant will have access to that custom response. Very neat.

    I don't use Reolink app for notification and zero interest of doing so. I have an automation in HA so if Reolink doorbell see a person, it'll greet and tell them we're not interest in buying anything.
