Is anyone else having issues with attachments? Recently when I select files to upload, some of them will just show as white and not be successful. These are files I have uploaded previously without any issues. I also have issues with pasting images into my posts. Anyone else seeing this behavior? -

One camera cannot do it all. You cannot see everything and still see details. Getting good details does not allow you to see everything; it is a give and take. This is why a good system will have cameras that complement each other. This is also why a PTZ is a complement to a good, already...- Ri22o

Regardless, you will struggle with throwing IR that far. Hopefully the bus only runs when it's light out. That street light could also complicate things since you're trying to see past it. Andy has a Z12E refurb for $170 right now. It would definitely get you the distance. I would still suggest...- Ri22o

VideoDad is explaining similar to below. This is the 3X, which has 3 cameras in one housing. They have different focal lengths, but not all with the exact same center to their FOV. You can see the bounding boxes for each view in the first image. If you had one camera, just zooming it in or out...- Ri22o

Well, it's doing better with my neighbor's mower. It only locked onto it one time, but didn't immediately display as a human, either. I am also someone's #1 fan. I wish focus had been better and it had panned faster. -
Recordings disappear constantly
I went to review some footage this morning, and I am missing a chunk of alerts on all of my cameras again. Mid-day Thursday, through the weekend. Continuous is available and it switches from sub to main, but there are no alerts for the triggers. Nothing changed to make the alerts show back up... -

Cable length in junction box
I have some PFA-130 boxes serving two cameras. It's a pain getting it closed up, but I am able to fit two runs and two camera pigtails in the junction box. -

Hikvision as a brand
You need to slow down. I would wait on committing to any cameras until you do more research and you need to read. You either need a camera that works for your install location, or an install location that works for your camera. Where are you wanting to capture license plates? In your driveway...
