    I’m certainly no expert but I believe you “should” get a double-conversion although the price is probably not really worth it. My understanding is line-interactive would be a better choice than passive. What model do you have now? Is it really bad or does it just need new batteries?

    I do agree leaving out skipping ahead frame by frame is a bigger issue, but it just seems like every DMSS update makes it less user friendly. Correct, up until the DMSS 2.0.0 update I assume, I held off updating for the first few revisions and stayed on 1.99.846

    I don’t ever use SmartPSS but I believe you’re correct that there is only a Windows version available. DMSS definitely doesn’t require any cloud connection. If you already have WireGaurd setup and working just adding your NVR with the IP/Domain selection will get you up and going for live view...
