He’s already running auto exposure - 0-333 ms It’s already too dark in evening /night His camera has no IR He will have to add light, either IR or white light to brighten the evening /night image. Those settings will make it darker unless there’s something being left out- bigredfish

DMSS not loading on external wifi
When you say wont load, you mean the app wont open on your phone? Or you can't connect to the cameras remotely on someone elses wifi?- bigredfish

Can't use USB port on NVR anymore.
Many older NVRs wont recognize, (dont have the drivers for) USB wireless mouse(s) Plug a wired mouse in and it will likely work- bigredfish

Depends on what you consider "Low end" I have an 8 year old 5216-16p-4KS2E that works with VMD just fine You'll have no problem with Wizsense NVRs and 5442 compatibility, none. I would stick to the 5 series and not the 4 series, mostly becasue of bandwidth constraints, not functionality...- bigredfish
