Really helps to have a good varifocal to play with to have this sink in better, otherwise often too academic This is why I often prefer to tell people to get ONE good 4MP 1/1.8" varifocal camera to play with and test possible positions for placement.- mat200

In general most of my cameras are about 90 degree FOV ( 3.6mm ) .. front door / doors are 2.8mm .. and those covering the sideway and street are tighter FOV varifocal, where I want about 100 ppf at the target area.
