Yes, it supported... You must enable AcuPick mode on EI NVR's in NVR SmartPlan... And also AcuPick must be enabled on cameras (cam must support it)... XI and EI2 don't have those requirement (AcuPick is always enabled, XI/EI2 can add AcuPick to a few non AcuPick cams)...- steve1225

NEVER (except ANPR and very specific configs where you know what are you doing) use constant shutter - like 1/500.. Always use full manual mode - where you shutter is between 0 and something.. if it's bright camera will use fast shutter, if dark camera will go to longer shutter times... this... -

The T180 is one of the worst choices you could have made for recording car license plates. The very wide viewing angle, lack of optical zoom, and severe horizontal distortion (everything is narrowed) make the plates difficult to read. Can you mask certain areas where for IR only?
You could try cutting small pieces of electrical tape and gluing them to the appropriate spots on the IR LED lenses on the camera to black-out IR light around tree area... Or simply move/rotate the camera to the left so it doesn't show the tree in the center.- steve1225

Which nvr??
If you will select any on Andy Shop, select models which ends with -S2 those are new 2025 models, which replaces old 2022 models.. price difference is only 20$, but they have 2x more performance..- steve1225

uploads works now for last a few days... there are 2 methods of upload images - one is "Attach files" button, second is drag&drop of image file into new post edit box.. you can try both... you can also try to switch browsers...- steve1225

In any IVS (or any other AI) configuration in Dahua cams, you have "+Event Linkage" button where you can use "Send Command" option. This allows to send over http or https commands to Home Assistant, where you can have some automation which will turn on for specific time specific... -

The market is simply such that only they implement their own functions in their own solutions. 1. ONVIF as a standard and organization is a dead body. In theory, they're developing... -

I think this is one of the architecture decisions done 20 years ago, when Dahua started as company doing simple DVR recorders.. No one then was thinking about AI and possibility to have hundreds / thousands of events per hour per camera.. And no one want now to try to change this - to risky... -

There is no connection between cameras - so no. Each camera will detect and turn on flood light alone. If you want support from many cams to many lights around house - you must do own lights around house, use electric relay to turn them on and connect that relay to ALARM-OUT on 5xxx NVR...
