there are 'POE power blockers' on the market.. or some stupid cheap ethernet switches.. cutting wires in CAT5 cable don't work - POE power can be sent over the same wires (1,2,3,6) as fast ethernet data.. -

depending of NVR and firmware generation, you can have or not specific options in camera registration -> POE menu.. -

And why you want to do it like this? You can disable POE power on switch or NVR on this port... Also if you provide power to camera using camera power-in cable, it should switch to it automatically (ignore POE).. -

All WizColor / AI-ISP cams have TOTALLY different video workflow comparing to older Dahua cameras.. Many settings works very different... The same was on TIOC-PRO (34PRO)... You can try to enable full WDR (with values >= 50) - it reverse some (not all) original Dahua video processing - to test... -
PoE+ power issues on ~90m Cat6 run — need advice
is the cable 23AWG? this is more important than cable is CAT5 or CAT6... You can try to use different switch, but POE++ will not solve any problem here (because camera will negotiate POE+ only).. Also POE+ and POE++ are using the same voltage... Both HIK & Dahua are offering own POE switches...- steve1225

3449 TIOC or 3449 TIOC-PRO? if TIOC-PRO (with 1/1.8" sensor), then there shouldn't be that difference.. TIOC-PRO have the same AI-ISP / always active HDR technology. Probably something was wrong configured.. -

triggering other channels is for PTZ cams.. never saw this to trigger multiple recordings/activate alarm outputs/smart lights etc.. if you want to have full house lights/alarms activated by each camera, you have ALARM-OUT output on 5xxx NVRs - where you can connect small relay and turn-on any... -

there are multiple reports that Windows 11 update (some security patch? defender/firewall rules?) blocks Dahua web service plugin on many computers... the only known solution for now is to delete webplugin from computer... for me (Mac user, so there is no plugins at all) on modern cams all... -

yes... it's fix, not firmware.. so you should upgrade to any normal firmware you selected.. and then, if you have missing RTSP method you can FIX that firmware using this file... this fix don't change firmware version or date.. simply enable RTSP...- steve1225

No.. I will not be - to old platform / SOC (2016?)... For now UI 5.0 is only for 2025 NVRs releases (5xxx-EI2 & 5xxx-XI-PRO) plus there is beta firmware for 5xxx-EI from 2022. -

move/rotate camera in place/direction where this will not be a problem... use sun cover / shade (bullets usually have this).. -

Very nice... Did you use white light on the camera? or some spot light next to the camera? the white moving spots looks like dust reflections from the light... I would invest/install some white spotlights (narrow beam) / flood lights (wide beam) on the building or fence - but in some distance...- steve1225

you can do IVS on camera (using camera AI resources) and then face detection/recognition of NVR (using NVR AI resources).. usually limited to 1/2/4/8 channels (depending of type of NVR and used other AI functions)..- steve1225

Tip from other PTZ models: Use a maximum of 80-90% zoom range... Typically, at the maximum 100% zoom PTZ cams / optics produces the most image distortion and instability.- steve1225
