Be beware no one tested this firmware on 608-XI yet here... And for some reason (HW/SOC problems??) we needed wait for this firmware on 608-XI for almost one year... we have tested some BETA firmwares from Andy, but they were different... So you test it at your own risk...- steve1225

Edge problems is on all Dahua web interfaces - due some windows update.. Search forum history for that... I don't recommend updating older 5xxx-EI to new NVR firmware. There are many small bugs or missing features in different places. Dahua didn't have good 2025 for new products. Firmware...- steve1225

Big question here is 'all problems with WizColor' is simply from different/bad video processing or there is worse image sensor or open aperture create problems with softness of image (last one can be very true for IR). depending model & size they can be much or less noisier... You must read manufacture spec sheet in PDF.. noise levels are different for different size (TB) models in each line depending how many magnetic discs & heads are inside..- steve1225

lights reflection typical to open aperture (F1.0).. 5x59 in bullets have some mitigation for that (angled sensor), but in turrets is no space for that. it's first -IL reported on forum, where you bought it? please put video footage with people/car movement at night... -

Why 6ms? You are from the US - so 8.3ms (1/120s)... With today modern LED lighting you can even put European 10ms... 50/60Hz (100/120Hz) light blinking from electric grid is no more with LED lights... If you see ghosting on moving objects, then this means there is missing light.. More IR or... -

the same story was with full Video Meta Data on 5442 & 7442.. enabling VMD corrected camera manual settings (shutter times etc) to catch objects in motion.. in case AI-ISP this behavior can be explained by fact that AI-ISP (2D & 3D NR) are USING IVS data - to localize on video picture moving... -
