    I have tried up to 4 additional images at 1 second intervals. I can try more I guess and see what happens. I'm not sure of the pitfalls of too many images.

    Do you want to connect to your camera directly bypassing BI? You should be able to to that on your network. If you have BI you can use UI3 which is a web application to view your cameras.

    Not anymore since BI supports sub streams from the cameras. Check the Wiki for recommendations on hardware. An i5 would work for most installations.

    Since I upgrade to BI5 I often get transparent like objects in my emailed screenshots and also during playback. I only record on motion. Here is an example of a person in motion. In earlier and later frames it looks fine.

    If the Chromebook is on the same network as the BI server then you should be able to just open the correct inbound port on the BI server firewall. To lock it down even more you should be able to specify the inbound IP you want to use for the Chromebook.

    I have a 13 camera system that is not even using substreams and the cpu remains around 40%. It is an i7-6700. Most of the cameras are 4MP and I run them at 15fps.
