    My router died and I replaced it. Now when I press the button on the doorbell I get this "no platform registered" error. Is there a way to fix this? It's difficult to get to the doorbell because of where it's located. I still get notices from the motion detector

    That's what I was concerned about. Is there an alternative to the HikConnect DS-KB6403? I am not too happy with the unit, it seems to either work with my DVR or it works through the app. Does the later DS-HD1 work better?

    So I have one of these doorbell things. I get "camera offline" in the hikvision app, but I also get motion alerts. When the button gets pressed I don't get called on my phone. Is there something that I need to do in order to fix this?

    Yeah, mine I think is the Kodak or RCA or whatever version that is just rebadged. I have the HikConnect Firmware on it though. I tried the link you gave, litedev.sgp.hik-connect.com and it didn't work....

    Full hard reset, wiped the settings and finally reinstalled everything, and did the FW upgrade. Oh, and I've also got 19v across the power line, not 23/24 that might have an affect.

    For some reason when it went to the new FW it lost the PW. Hard reset fixed things.

    Ok. Managed to fix this. For anyone's reference, HikVision won't try to reset for you. You have to delete this from your account, then install new FW from the SD card. Then reset. You then get asked for a password in the HikConnect.

    Hey there. I have the RCA version of this, and when I set it up via the HIKVision app it never asked for a password or anything like that. Is there a way to get the password again so I can log into the doorbell? EDIT: Reflashed firmware from the SD card and suddenly it works.
