    Yes, connect it to your poe switch, not to poe port of NVR. After connecting to poe switch, you can still add it to your nvr in order to make it record on the NVR.

    Follor advise of ggybase Try not connecting switch to switch, especcialy when it is not gigabit. The bandwidth will be so high, that the switch cannot handle the stream. If you can, try connecting all switches directly to the router ( i hope that one is gigabit ) or use a gigabit as i suggested.

    I also had same with many of those.Just let them hang, and it should be ok after 1 or 2 days. ( thats my experience ) There was moisture in the middle of lens.
