    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

No change.....what causes the 401 message is when the port is anything but 80....no message if I change it to that......

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

If I try and add a new camera and do not enter the IP address of this axis camera, and just try to "find/inspect", BI does not see anything on my network......is that odd? If I use the cameras IP address it finds it and configures for it as generic ONVIF but doesnt show the feed in BI....... WTH

Yes, the logon name is root for both and the same password is used.

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

Tried changing the IP address to a lower last number, which worked for a previous camera I had tested....still no good.

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

Yeah...about a dozen times....... its gotta be something stupid, but I just cant find it. The camera is "found" in BI when I provide the IP ..... and the stream seems to be streaming given the data changes on the one screen -- given a low data rate --.....but the BI interface shows "no signal".

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

Does the "HTTP UNAUTHORIZED " message mean anything in this situation? When I go into teh camera software and turn off the "bonjour" and "upnp" options the "unauthorized" goes away but still have the "no signal" message

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

Thanks. Tried that and several iterations of deleting parts of it......still no good. :(

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

Noticed that the main stream seems to have activity in the camera page.......but not in the monitoring window in BI

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

I just updated the firmware for the camera --- first to 10.12.300 then to 11.11.181......no difference to BI. What the heck am I missing????

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

SO these are the settings that "inspect" populates....I also tried changing the "onvif source" at the bottom to videosrc_cam0 for main and videosrc_cfg_cam0 since that is how my other cameras show up (not AXIS cams).....also tried changing the "main profile" to "/live/main" and "sub profile" to...

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

Ok, I was able to get the camera reset again and now it is again showing up in BI at the network configure link.....I set up a second admin account in the camera for onvif and now the camera is at least showing ONVIF when I "inspect"....but was still showing an "unauthorized-check user password"...

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

Yep I did both of those things and had no luck. Then I tinkered too far--- changed some setting in the advanced settings and now cant even get as far as I had after doing multiple factory resets..... I am able to reset it, and then change the UN/PW as required.....and change the IP address to...

    AXIS P3245-LV and Blue Iris?

Hi folks I am tinkering with an AXIS P3245LV --- The PC sees it.....I am in the cameras interface on the PC via blueIris....But the console wont see the camera. Is there some magic incantation I am missing? I have tried going Generic ONVIF, as well as the "AXIS P series"......and just cant...

Issues with OpenVPN out of the blue

Hi folks. Y'all helped me set up my home cameras a while back with BlueIris and they have been running very solidly for some time. BluieIris is awesome! But lately, having an issue with "peer certificate verification failure" in Open VPN when I go to use my android phone to access the VPN...

    How to improve scrub action?

Well, not much running aside from BI and Avast virus protection..... My system is pretty old.....no doubt the main issue.

IP Camera offline after powering down

"Then go to the camera Network settings and change the camera IP address to the range of your system and hit save. " Pretty sure that is what I had done early on....WITAJ had walked me through step by step as well as did others....I remeber those screens when setting up the two NIC cards....and...

IP Camera offline after powering down

Thanks! Yeah I am running Home 10 x64 on this box. Can you clue me in on manually assigning the IPs w/o using a seperate DHCP server? After another restart I am now able to get back into settings and BI is running and all cameras are up..... But here is what my camera side NIC is saying. Not...

IP Camera offline after powering down

I am almost certain I did assign static IPs to ten cameras when I set up the dual nics....I just cant remember where to look to verify that. I swear I did. But the second nic is showing DHCP...so......I may be full of poop.... Thought at least for now I was good aside from the DHCP stuff...but...

IP Camera offline after powering down

Ok...well....I told you I am a newbie...... I was avoiding shutting down /restarting the B machine figuring that I would avoid MORE issues. I restarted the box and like magic all cameras are now back. I guess the NIc got confused? That said, My second NIC card, the one running the camera...

IP Camera offline after powering down

Since the cameras do not show up on my router, they only connect to the BI machine.....I assume I need to set up static IPs there for the cameras? But I thought I did this when I set them up originally on the second NIC..... In my BI box under networking and for the NIC card running the camera...

IP Camera offline after powering down

But if the subnet of the PC is set at the router level, how does that work without breaking stuff? BUT---update -- here is what is nuts. I just switched all the cabling back to exactly where it all was before, restoring my camera side switch etc.. I labeled stuff prior to changing stuff...

IP Camera offline after powering down

Thanks FWIW the brillcam is not in my router network map anywhere right now (nor is that funky MAC address I was talking about earlier).... So I disconnected my other two cameras from the POE switch, disconnected the cable connecting it to the camera nic....then.....took the internet cable...

IP Camera offline after powering down

The camera is (was) setup as a static IP as are my others..... The factory reset is what I am clinging to.... Dumb question -- in the dual nic setup you helped me with, the three cameras are on a switch on that second NIC, isolated from the interweb..... IF the camera did default to its...
