    I have tried most of the solutions you listed with my DS-7604NI-E1/4P, and also tried Yahoo mail, but no go. For other reasons I now have a DS-7608NI-I2/8P on order from "SECURE LIFE Surveillance System" through AliExpress. I'm curious if this problem will be fixed with this new unit.

    v5.4.0 did not fix the h.264+ green screen problems in IVMS and browser access in either of my DS-2CD2042WD-I's connected to my DS-7604NI-E1/4P.

    Did you set the path for where you want the files to go in "Record File Settings" and "Picture and Clip Settings" under "Local" in the web configuration page? I had your problem until I found those settings.

    Yes, but no live streaming or event viewing. VLC works with the saved vids without any added codecs too.

    I knew I shouldn't have posted on this thread! About three hours after posting both cams started showing the green screen in IVMS after two days of solidly working with H.264+ and no amount of reboots and fiddling can make it work this time. Curses!

    H.264+ works for me with IVMS-4200 on my Mac. I did get the green screen in IVMS but some combination of turning H.264+ off then on and then re-booting both the cameras and the NVR worked.

    FYI: I solved this problem by restoring the NVR to its defaults. The problem appeared to be caused by my prior use of "Line Crossing Detection" that had caused video problems so I had turned it off. Restoring to defaults fixed it.
