    text overlays

Some browsers will not show the menus correctly nor allow some changes. Which one are you using? I have no problems using Brave and Internet Explorer. I use BI for most overlays also. edited: out of curiosity I just tried Edge and it allowed saving overlay changes on a newer camera. Ya never know.

6.0.0.0 install went fine for me but last night I tried upping to 6.0.0.1 and it failed to install all files. Fortunately it did not mess up my system.

    Version 6

My CPU usage increased quite a lot and found many of the settings for my 35 individual cameras were compromised when imported by version 6. After reviewing many of the video settings and correcting them, my usage has dropped back to the 25% range where it was before upgrading. Some cameras lost...

    OMG Thermal!

I would suspect it may be real. My first visual experience with a thermal camera was somewhat disturbing as the first person that I looked at was a fully clothed guy but the image made his look naked as a Jay bird.

Anyone get Blue Iris working with Wyze 3 Beta Firmware that adds RTSP Support?

I strarted with Wyze cameras 7 years ago but once I found BI and POE cameras, I dumped them an never looked back. Here are the setting that I used in Blue Iris back then. They worked fair but I had lots of signal loss via WIFI.

    Tail Scale VPN

NO! Tailscale is easy and works very well but while on the subject, another free service is Zerotier which some folks prefer. I have both installed on all PC's and phones. Tailscale has never given me any problem. My ISP's are ATT and TMobile cellular services and do not provide a dedicated IP

    Whats the catch with Annke?

I have a couple of those and they are great for the price. I see they are 2 for $119.99. That's cheaper than I paid 2 years ago when they were on sale. I run them using IR only as the IR reaches out further than the LED lights. The dual lens stitching works well too.

    Forum Error When Posting

It got me tonight. I made the mistake of trying to save a post two more times and when I looked it had posted it three times. The same error comes up when you delete a post also but it does delete properly.

None of my Dahua cameras came with a plug. I point it down for drainage on outside cameras.

    The Nostalgia Thread

The word BULLETIN BOARD got my attention as I did run a BBS dedicated to girly photos back before the internet became popular and when you needed a second DSL phone line dedicated to the Commadore 64.

One camera goes missing then comes back

Maybe try adding again as a new camera in BI and do the normal find/inspect routine. I had one PTZ that went crazy when its configuration files somehow became corrupt. I thought the camera was a goner but reinstalling it took care of the problem.

Point to Point Wireless Bridge Recomendations

EDITED: I would jump on Tonys offer there. I did not notice that he had them for sale ..... I use those Loco5-ac units but those are overpriced to me. BHPhoto sells them for $49 each but you would need to buy 2 24V PoE Adapters which are sold separatly. $9.00 at BHPhoto also. You would need...

What model do I have? How to find out from Web UI?

That's fantastic TonyR! created one hell of a long file. My testing showed a few pages in as: "table.All.ChannelTitle[0].Name=T5442T-ZE ip124" I suppose using the "find" function and searching the last digits of your IP may help in the search as my IP is 10.0.0.124 which showed as 124 in the...
