    Waymo Mapping

If you pause the video the driver has hands on the steering wheel, so it appears the vehicle was not self driving. They drove down that dirt road below our house on both days. I suspect their self driving service won't be turned on until they finish the mapping part.

    Waymo Mapping

For the past 2 days Waymo vehicles have been driving around the neighborhood with a driver and no passengers. It appears they are mapping the streets before expanding their service area.

    Fire Time-Lapse

There was a structure fire near the bottom of the street that runs by this corner. The video starts 5 minutes before it was reported and runs at 10x speed. Fifteen emergency vehicles responded.

I will add more zoom tonight from the camera to see if I can get a better close-up. That dog seems to be walked early every day.

    Car Doing Donuts Hits Curb

Happened this morning just before 4 AM. I don't think it damaged the neighbor's fence. The car missed my LPR camera for that street by about a foot.

    Vehicle Crash Causes Power Outage

That first vehicle did not look like a first responder. It only had the normal civilian emergency lights. About 10 minutes after that first vehicle I saw a fire truck on the scene. Before that I saw several powerful flashlights in a number of places looking for the accident. The crash noise woke...

    Vehicle Crash Causes Power Outage

I now know why I lost that minute of recording. I recently bought a Goldenmate Lithium UPS Battery Backup to ease the load on my APC Backup UPS 1350 for the Blue Iris machine. I made the mistake of hooking up a switch to the Goldenmate which does not have a fast enough cutover to the battery...

    Vehicle Crash Causes Power Outage

Yes, lost about 1 minute from all cameras. I don't know how that happened because everything is connected to battery backups. I made some recent changes to the battery backups. I might have missed a vital connection somewhere. Still doesn't explain why the recording started recording a minute...

    Illegal Tire Dump

Update, tires are gone. Guy in a truck walked all the way to where tires were sitting, then walked out to the street and backed up a truck to the spot and loaded up the tires. Maybe the neighbor that lives at the end of the dirt road had them removed.
