    Recovering password on Dahua NVR

That was a different NVR. The NVR I am wanting to use is a NVR5216-16P-4KS2E, so I believe it has the hard reset button. Does resetting the NVR put it back to the original firmware version? The original firmware version was in the 3's and I updated it in steps to version 4

    Recovering password on Dahua NVR

Want to add my other Dahua NVR5216 to the system, but I cannot remember the password I assigned to it when I initialized and updated it last year. Any ideas how to either recover the password or reset it?

    MOVIES, TV Series Recommendations...

Like I mentioned, it started promising - it was funny, had a dynamic cast and I like law TV series for some reason. Unfortunately, 3 or 4 episodes in they started dropping the virtue signaling and mental disease. Just little things at first but then entire episodes started being devoted to the...

    MOVIES, TV Series Recommendations...

To add to my viewing observations, tonight's episode was about climate change and how oil and carbon emissions are bad and will end life as we know it within 20 years. Even have a father environmentalist sequester his 6- and 8-year-old kids from life to help him fight his cause through climate...

What the Flock is going on here!

I agree, but Flock will not take responsibility. They pass that to the third party - general contractor, individual installer, etc. Typically, the installers, much like Amazon's delivery drivers, are required to be an independent contractor. Removes a lot of responsibility and liability from the...

What the Flock is going on here!

I agree. Flock will just say that it was installed at the incorrect location and/or blame the installer. Either way, it sure sounds like the installer would be responsible as Flock the company sub-contracts the installation to a third party, leaving them liable unless they can prove otherwise.

What the Flock is going on here!

I'm sure someone with skills will track down where the data is going. There are lots of privacy advocates who are "on the job". In the meantime, no permit, no installation. They should be covering the cameras at the very minimum and tagging them with non-permit compliance notices (tags) giving...

    MOVIES, TV Series Recommendations...

If you're into being woke, virtue signaling, gaslighting and COVID era propaganda, "Family Law" is your series to watch. It didn't start out that way, but a few episodes in you could pick up small bits of mental disease covering subjects like trans, anti-vaxing and more. Wife and I are still...

Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

Again, I think we may have been gaslighted as to who the real enemy was in WWII.

Approximately 140 gallons if you can maintain 18 MPG average. AS of today's price, of $4.39, that's only about $615

Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

I can barely afford to drive across town, let alone drive approximately 1100 miles to the northeast for holiday. And $700 for one person is more than the monthly payments for both our vehicles.

What the Flock is going on here!

Neat concept but there's too many players that will lobby to make sure this does not happen. Or impose regulations that can't be met - BUT the big three will have no such limitations. Can you imagine if this becomes a reality? It would be the hottest selling small to mid-sized truck in the US...

Not to downplay what the Germans did in WWII, but they may have been onto something.

Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

Yeah, I'm right on that! GTFO! This is nothing more than a huge wealth transfer from the public to those in power. When are people going to wake up?

3-wheeler just sold, so only have the 21-speeder cycle now. Any takers? Gas is getting more expensive and you can save while getting in shape. Going cheap - just $70 - cash only - NO deliveries - bring a trailer, box, pickup or what have you. Hell, just strap it to your roof - great deal!

Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

True, but you can disable the telemetric module currently on combustion cars. I've never seen a video on how to disable in a Tesla. May be a software only thing?

What the Flock is going on here!

I would bet this "feature" will find its way into personal vehicles as well - for safety of course. If you take your eyes off the road or yawn or any behavior it does not like, it will find a place to pull over until your behavior improves. No thanks!
