    On my 54IRs, when I go back and watch alert clips using UI3 or the console, the audio is slightly delayed during playback by 1 or 2 seconds. Is that pretty typical? Thanks

    What's the syntax to call the API for Day and Night. I could definitely do this. It's too bad the old Day/Night app doesn't work for the 54IRs. I used to use it and it was great for automating changing profiles.

Today I hope to mend it and continue to use it until I get new conduit installed. New cable tester arrives today, hopefully that’ll help confirm the repair...

    It has a small receiver that the cable plugs into. I returned it and ordered a different one. We’ll see how it works. I did use it to test other cables and it worked as expected. @Flintstone61 is probably right, cable probably has water in it after being damaged by critters.

    Thanks for the replies everyone. I've ordered a better tester that will tell me which pairs are shorted. It can estimate where the short is. I'm sure that's probably not very accurate. If I can find the damage, I'll patch it temporarily while I run new conduit the length of the run.
