Looking at your photos in post #336, that looks a lot higher than 9 feet. Assuming the lower wall with the railings on is at least 6 feet, and looking at the side with the red gas bottle on it, it looks more like 10 feet, that position looks more like 20 feet. I usually mount about 6.5-7... -

The problem for you is the general idea behind 1/1.2" in secuirty cameras is they're sensitive enough not to require IR. You're other alternative if you must have 4k 1/1.2" would be to add some ambient light. I always recommend a dusk to dawn light with a motion activated floodlight for backup...- CCTVCam

This had so much promise: I think the issue was there were only really target pistols at an insane price (@$7k). I believe it was developed for Military use by an un-named EU army. There are multiple video out there including 1 showing it shooting THROUGH bullet proof glass. -

I never get false activations on my motion sensor light. I always buy a light then a separate motion sensor as the sensors usually wear out / degrade in detection way before the lights need replacing. It's also gives you the freedom of choosing your sensor. This is what I'm currently using... -

I think the digital noise is probably gain. As said before AI can't work wonders. It's most likely adjusting Brightness, Gain, and contrast to obtain a brighter image to a larger extent than a person would thus inducing noise, then post processing the induced noise out with Intelligence based... -

In fairness it's a step forward over the 5442, and worth buying if that was your consideration if the 4kt's limitations are off putting for you as a buyer.
