    Isn't there an automcatic retention setting in BI for plates as its there is for video? Check in the Storage Tab because if you're using a folder / drive specifically for plates, I'm sure you can set the data retention limit in there.

    Doesn't it have a retention period setting that auto deletes? There's very little point saving plates beyond a month because if you haven't discovered a crime during that period, then it's unlikely you will. Otherwise all you're doing is starting a number plate collection.
