    Sorry for the late reply, just got back home. It plays normally on the NVR, pausing for a split second where it skipped on the phone but continued playing without skipping anything.

    I am almost certain Honeywell Security has shut down. I spent a whole day calling every Honeywell hotline, local security installers, and browsing websites. They simply don’t provide anything unless you setup the system with their security service or are an authorized installer.

    I have an issue where many cameras skip recording for a few seconds after detecting motion, causing the event to be unrecorded. I attached a video of what this looks like. I verified the NVR has adequate resources for the bitrate and the hard drives pass the SMART test. What could be going on...

    Honeywell cameras almost never allow outside firmware. They have a security chipset that won’t allow it to update unless the firmware is signed by Honeywell.

    I believe you are right about the firmware blocking. The unit shuts off when I attempt to load Dahua firmware via Configtool and only starts up again when I unplug and plug in again. Some said that they had to downgrade the firmware. Any ideas where to find older firmware? Thanks!

    Hey there! I figured out a solution! Go to Microsoft Edge and open the client. Click the ... at the top right. Then select "Reload in Internet Explorer Mode". Good luck! I got it working with my 16 Channel XVR.
