Dahua vs Luminys differences: 100% rebranded or more like 85%?

I think I would factor in to my decision-making for a business the matter of Foxlink being "Taiwan-based", due to the ever tenuous China/Taiwan situation

I know there was/is a cheaper model. I ordered one and cancelled it when I learned this and compared the specs. I decided to pay the difference.

Holy crap, $450 for a WD purple 10TB drive now!

I had the same happen on a smaller scale. 4TB Purple at the typical old price $99 at the end of December. Decided to bite the bullet and grab another for $150 a month later when prices first jumped. Price right now is $210. And memory cards? Fugitaboutit.

I want to mount Cable Glands Facing Upward - Yes? No?

Oh! Yes, under eaves, but I understand it is still an obvious risk, especially over time. Just have to hope no one will spontaneously go for for a cable.

I want to mount Cable Glands Facing Upward - Yes? No?

I will mount some camera junction boxes at 7' to 8' feet high, not out of reach, with the cable dropping from above. To make it a bit more difficult for wise-guys to easily mess with a cable I thought would position the junction box port and cable gland pointing straight upwards to place it...

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

I'm wondering if Dahua has decided to keep replacement models away from IPCT after the last new releases. Maybe they don't want us bagging on them again?;)

    Camo vinyl wrap / tape?

I wonder if there is a business out there that does one-off custom printing on vinyl wrap material. It would be great if you could capture an image for your camouflage and create a file to be used for the printing. Alternatively, I believe you could do this for fabric with the DTG or DTF processes.

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

Having joined as a complete newbie only a little over 6 months ago, it has been quite a ride with all I have and still have to learn, my first 'real' camera a T54PRO-ZE, deciding on the purchase and how to install other cameras, the chip shortage, and now the threat to our router choices. Camera goes out of focus in IR mode

My answer was a general one. I noticed your auto setting and thought the camera is having difficulty deciding on a point to focus on. One solution would be to set your manual focus to where your subject is usually positioned. I don't know that the camera would be refocussing reliably at such...

    IPC-T54IR-AS-S3 vs IPC-B54IR-ZE-S3 - IR night performance

I forgot to mention that I am testing fully zoomed out to 2.7/2.8 mm. The bullet does allow for running near IR, far IR, or both. I also need to be able to Identify at close range. I haven't tested settings yet for the latter but I have no doubt that these are the right cameras for the job.

    IPC-T54IR-AS-S3 vs IPC-B54IR-ZE-S3 - IR night performance

I'm evaluating a B54IR-AS-S3 right now. My scene requires near and far IR illumination so I am running all 4 LEDs and it does perform better at lighting the distant background (up to 75 feet) than a IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3, as expected. I have an object at the center of the frame that is about 15-20...
