    I couldn't wait to mount Andy's camera, so I went to the other corner to get some daytime shots at default settings. Distances are the same 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 ft increments. I'm going to leave the G6 Pro on the other corner while I wait to hear back from Unifi support.

    But, the sensor is letting in much more light if it's able to show objects that you can't even see with the eye. That can't just be 3D NR if you're able to see that far away on camera but not with the eye. The image can stand to be much, much darker. I don't need to see 100 yards away.

    Recording set to 4K, 15FPS, Medium HDR, Night Vision set to Auto with IR filter and IR LED, Shutter Exposure set to Frame Clarity, spotlight for color night vision turned off. Zoom is set t 1x. Adjusted position for better framing of area.

    Not trying to get licenses during the day at this distance, but wanted to play around with the zoom. This is zoom maxed out. The stationary plate is 73 feet away. Motion plates aren't readable at that distance. This is on the default 30FPS though. I may try lowering to 15FPS and see what plates...

    There is no manual control of shutter. There are three options. Auto, Frame Clarity, and Best Low-Light. The Frame Clarity raises shutter 4x. Best Low-Light decreases frame rate to 20.

    I've changed the Shutter Exposure to "Frame Clarity" which states it will increase the shutter speeds by 4x. It would be nice if they opened that up for a more granular control. We will see how that change looks tonight.

    Yes. If not tonight, tomorrow. One thing I noticed was condensation on the inside of the lens. After a little research, it seems to be a known trait with these cameras. Not too happy about that, but want to give it the chance to acclimate.

    Here's some daytime video. I placed marks on the concrete at 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 feet. This is out of the box default settings with no zoom. Remember to change your YT settings to watch in 4K (2160p) resolution.

    That could be just a matter of allowing more granular controls of the optics like Dahua does. Would require just firmware and software updates. I've seen bad images from both. And, I've seen good images from both.
