So I would just upgrade this machine to 5.9.9.98 and take advantage of the better DB structures, Just a note about 5.9.9.98, I believe that it has a bug in the export to MP3 code, it gets pretty nasty if you try to do the export, I know this from experence! -

If you look in your C:\blueiris\db folder and it has the files extra.dat and records.dat that have the current date on them, you might have the new db version already! -

I am not sure if it was done in one of the last 5.x versions, I do know that some of the last 5.x version also had some other issues that you really don't want to encounter. I would suggest moving to 6.0.38 as it is market as stable in my version 6.0.4.4, but I am no sure were you would find... -

The registry is where the camera info is stored, if you delete the key the camera will be gone from BI, just make sure that you exit BI and shut down the service first before you delete the registry key for the problem camera!- Bruce_H

AV exclusion has always been a thing! I believe it is in the help file! I don't use that version so there is no point in me looking as mine will be different than yours! I would suggest that you do a DB rebuild, you should not loose anything, but the version you are running is still using the... -

What AV are you running and do you have all the antivirus exclusions in place as per the help file? That is all the BI folders including the folder on the NAS excluded from your AV and a process exclusion for BlueIris.exe. -

FYI: Another user was just reporting that they were having problems connecting VLC to a camera using RTSP, he was thinking it might be a bug in VLC!- Bruce_H

What do you have selected for additional models on the BI setting AI tab, to the best of my knowledge BI internal AI will use all selected models, If you <Ctrl> double click on an alert it will tell you what models are being used! -

Your external IP will change from time to time, that is why people use a DNS service (Dynamic Name Service) there is a section in the help about using a dynamic DNS system from BI using the last part of your serial number have you looked at that in the BI help?- Bruce_H

Lost Live Overlays
I would suggest that you might want to consider using the timestamp that the actual camera provides, it makes it easier in my mind, then it is always on the video that is recorded, but perhaps you have other info than just the timestamp!- Bruce_H

Those errors Clip file Exists are not normal, sorry I don't have any suggestions, I have never seen this error before! Do you have the exclusions in place for your AV software, I am guessing something is interfering with the disk writes!
