    Continuous recording not continuous.

OK, you say you only get 20 min's, does it record another 20 mins after that or do you have to restart the system to get it to record again? Can you post your storage settings for "New" I would suggest that you try to set the "Combine or cut video each: to some setting that works for you 12 or...

    BI database corruption ver. 5.9.9.67

So I would just upgrade this machine to 5.9.9.98 and take advantage of the better DB structures, Just a note about 5.9.9.98, I believe that it has a bug in the export to MP3 code, it gets pretty nasty if you try to do the export, I know this from experence!

    BI database corruption ver. 5.9.9.67

If you look in your C:\blueiris\db folder and it has the files extra.dat and records.dat that have the current date on them, you might have the new db version already!

    BI database corruption ver. 5.9.9.67

I am not sure if it was done in one of the last 5.x versions, I do know that some of the last 5.x version also had some other issues that you really don't want to encounter. I would suggest moving to 6.0.38 as it is market as stable in my version 6.0.4.4, but I am no sure were you would find...

Camera Corrupted; Can't Delete from BI 6.0.4.3

If you recreate the camera with the exact same short camera name it will still be linked to the old DB records!

Camera Corrupted; Can't Delete from BI 6.0.4.3

The registry is where the camera info is stored, if you delete the key the camera will be gone from BI, just make sure that you exit BI and shut down the service first before you delete the registry key for the problem camera!

    BI database corruption ver. 5.9.9.67

AV exclusion has always been a thing! I believe it is in the help file! I don't use that version so there is no point in me looking as mine will be different than yours! I would suggest that you do a DB rebuild, you should not loose anything, but the version you are running is still using the...

    BI database corruption ver. 5.9.9.67

What AV are you running and do you have all the antivirus exclusions in place as per the help file? That is all the BI folders including the folder on the NAS excluded from your AV and a process exclusion for BlueIris.exe.

    rstp stream help please

FYI: Another user was just reporting that they were having problems connecting VLC to a camera using RTSP, he was thinking it might be a bug in VLC!

Blue Iris RTSP Stream Logging Out

I am puzzled, if the RTSP stream will not work in VLC, would that not indicate a camera problem rather than a problem in Blue Iris?

    Help with BI server Re-build

If you are building a "New" BI machine why try to start with a transferred OS drive, why not just install a clean copy of Win11 and leave all the Win10 garbage that has probably collected!

Quick question about camera status window

Well the answer is probably quite simple, it has detected motion more often than the other cameras, probably due to more moving objects in it's field of view and different settings for the motion sensor, it might also be detecting motion every time you move it, there is a setting to prevent...

Quick question about camera status window

The key rate for both your main and sub are not 1.0, you would have to go into the camera web page and adjust the setting on each camera, something like shown below, you want to have the I Frame interval set the same as the FPS, I have been told that a good number is 15 for the FPS and the...

    Increasing recording sensitivity

I am pretty sure that when you say recording sensitivity you actually are asking how to make the camera more sensitive to motion. First question is are you using AI (artificial Intelligence) or just the regular motion setting in BI. If you are just using BI motion then it is all controlled by...

Quick question about camera status window

A quick click on the help button gives this info, but does not clarify what the second number refers to, I am pretty sure that it is not the sensor size, as one of my cheap camera's is 0.9 and my higher resolution cameras are 0.3 Pixels This is the number of picture elements in each image—the...

Blue Iris - using http or json to get ptz camera patrol pause status

Did you look at the camera setup screen, it is right there " Resume cycle/schedule after inactivity (sec)"! Never tried it so I am not sure it will do what you want! From the built in help file (which is worth reading) Event search-back also applies when using the option on the PTZ page to...

Blue Iris Remote WAN address changes after system reboot?

Sorry, I don't have an I-Phone or use the BI app, I only use UI3 and the Open VPN server built into my Asus Routers, it works flawlessly for me!

Primary AI with an additional model... which one is used?

What do you have selected for additional models on the BI setting AI tab, to the best of my knowledge BI internal AI will use all selected models, If you <Ctrl> double click on an alert it will tell you what models are being used!

Blue Iris Remote WAN address changes after system reboot?

Your external IP will change from time to time, that is why people use a DNS service (Dynamic Name Service) there is a section in the help about using a dynamic DNS system from BI using the last part of your serial number have you looked at that in the BI help?

    Lost Live Overlays

I would suggest that you might want to consider using the timestamp that the actual camera provides, it makes it easier in my mind, then it is always on the video that is recorded, but perhaps you have other info than just the timestamp!

For each camera there is a setting on the "Record" tab that allows you to pick any folder that you have defined on the "Storage" settings in the main program setup. In the storage setup you could rename one of the unused folders to somethimg like "New1" on the second drive then setup some of...

Recording stop once in a while

Those errors Clip file Exists are not normal, sorry I don't have any suggestions, I have never seen this error before! Do you have the exclusions in place for your AV software, I am guessing something is interfering with the disk writes!
