I had irrigation installed in my old house and used irrigation lines for outside cameras facing the house. I put two in back in berms and one in the front berm. Camera placement under deck
When I finished my deck I built a chase from the house out to the end of the deck. It was 120VAC, switched 120VAC for a lamp over the grill, natural gas line, 12VDC, camera POE wires and speaker cable for outdoor speakers. The chase was a bit hidden with cross support beams. coming right...- pete_c

Personally I would configure it at home on your workbench leaving the firmware alone then updating to the Hikvision firmware. On the workbench just attach a power cord to an AC doorbell transformer (buy it from Amazon then return it once you have completed your testing). -

Here too leave the phone off unless I am in the automobile. I also use Google voice and only give that number out as a cell phone. Only read texts when using Google mail. Never been tethered to any of my cell phones for work or play. -

What I see in the directory for Batch Configuration is 3.0.2.3. When I am running it and look I see 3.0.2.6. I do have it registered on the bottom section of batch configuration. I do not add the user under the ONVIF configuration. I add it under the system user section. -
