    Of course. But on-cam AI is limited to what the camera manufacturer gives you. At least with doing AI externally, you have more options with more targets (e.g. Blue Onyx, CPAI, Frigate, etc..)

    Excellent. I get about ~600 cars a day by my house so that is 220k reads per year. Gives me an idea of db size which seems to be pretty small.

    I do the same as you. I try to find cases that have multiple external 5.25 bays (which is harder and harder to find) and then I buy the Star Tech or Icy Dock caddies so I have easy external access to the drives without having to dig inside the case. They aren't hot swappable like true SAS...

    No. I exclude the backup of the passthrough drives. Proxmox then backs up the virtual disk of the BI VM only. No downtime required.

    Yeah there is a bug with the new installer and getting UI3 running. You have to run the installer twice now to get UI3 working.

    I just bought two more of the 4K-X cams instead of the TIOC. Since I have a ton of white light where I’m putting them, this cam makes more sense that the Tioc cam from the other thread.

    You downloaded his “stable” build which is 5.9.9.73? If you installed his latest available, those are betas and are not stable. Those are akin to nightly builds. He is in the process of pushing out ver 6 so there has been a ton of work the last month with new builds.

    Thanks @bigredfish for these tests. I'm going to try one of these 4M-Ts. I like the fact it can switch from IR to color even if the light isn't super bright. Is there another camera that can do this (switch from IR to color with light upon motion/IVS trigger)?

    Do they make this camera in a bullet? I'd like to mount it up on a pole. Are you guys still happy with this cam? I really wanted to go with another 4k-x but that camera can't turn on its warm lights upon motion detection like this camera can which is something I need.

    I'm not sure what you are trying to say. Are you saying that BI is a deal at $480/year compared to $800/year? I pay $34.95/year for BI at my retail business. I'll be damned if I am going to fork over ~13x that now.
