Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Looking at it now, I see a few occupied alerts. Not a lot though. I'm also going to try turning off periodic scanning and see what happens.

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Since installing 6.0.2.6, I have had Periodic Scanning enabled, and I have not seen any Occupied alerts. I have only seen "Nothing Found", like before. I have also changed over to the built in AI, and have been so impressed that I uninstalled CPAI.

I do the same thing. But I don't see any of the camera view blacked out. It might send the whole image to AI to be processed, but I never see that since I limit the alerts to the desired zone. So it might be doing that, but I'm not aware of it. All I know is I never see an alert from cars going...

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

I might be wrong, but I believe that that is a privacy mask. In my experience, to keep from having cars in the street triggering the camera, use zones. Create zone A that contains the entire camera frame. Then unselect the areas that you do not want motion to trigger. I do this with my driveway...

Is that the Frigate implementation within Home Assistant? The Home Assistant OS? I have a Frigate docker on Ubuntu. I was using Home Assistant to send notifications to my phone using blueprints, but I thought it was overkill. My install works for people, but my config yaml file is a mess.

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

While digging into this, I've noticed a couple of clear issues. First, most of the time, the asterisk is on T=0 which I understand is the trigger. I remember we used to say to keep the program checking, you put something impossible in the To cancel text box. I do that. DoNotCancel. But I only...

Unfortunately, my experience is I ask Ken a question, he answers a different question. I'm not the only one with this issue. If I can nail down how to get snapshots of vehicles in Frigate NVR, I'm gone from this and Windows. In programming, controls are components of the graphical user interface...

Built-in AI not detecting (DEBUG ATTACHED)

I still see a few as well. I haven't checked the actual breakdown (Ctrl Double Click) yet. I'll look tomorrow morning.

Regarding the occupied issue: Received email from Ken: Thanks! A somewhat major flaw was discovered based on your detail of this issue. A fix will be included today in 6.0.2.2. Take care Ken

Yes Ken is a one man operation. Plus an admin/secretary?

My opinion, and then I will stop posting about this. For about a year and a half or more, I used the same pre post and timing settings. I didn't have to change them since moving to CPAI. Pre: 4 Post: 10 Time: 500 msec (for years, since Deepstack) I never saw this behavior. All objects are...

Built-in AI not detecting (DEBUG ATTACHED)

Not only built in AI, but also CPAI. And if all I want to do is track people walking, this will work. Vehicles, not so much. So Blue Iris is now good at identifying slow objects.

Built-in AI not detecting (DEBUG ATTACHED)

I have been trying to resolve this with settings, but have been unsuccessful. I would advise you to email Blue Iris support with as much documentation and examples as possible. I have been emailing with Ken, but the more examples he receives might help him put this issue higher on his list. I...

I almost wonder if this was happening in ver 5 and I didn't notice it. I get this no matter what settings or AI provider I use. ???

So how is it going on your demo machine? Have the occupied detections stopped? Do you believe that cleaning up that registry key made the difference, or was it something else? I tried a number of things, with no improvement so far. Thanks

Rolled back to 6.0.1.27. I'll see if there is any change to the occupied issue.

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Here you go. Does this help? The one with the asterisk. My point is the vehicle is moving. It's not a car sitting still in the street. That's all I am asking. I'm curious about the logic that labels the image as occupied. that's all. If I had some insight about the decision that marks the...

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Car (Sedan actually): Car is moving, but identified as occupied. Had alert Trigger Source set as External from CPAI settings. Maybe should be AI?

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Tomorrow morning I'll post some. I understand where you're going, but I have a lot of detections with cars identified as Occupied. And I just said that changing to the Primary Object Detection didn't resolve the issue. I might try going back to CPAI and see what that does. Just looking for a...

That's not what I see. I check for cars. It identifies moving cars as Occupied. Post in thread 'Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models' https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/blue-iris-version-6-0-1-24-now-supports-custom-models.84539/post-974473

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Yeah, when I was trying to get the built in AI to work, I was sitting at the computer and watching Blue Iris. A car would go by, I would see the motion detection work, and it would disappear. I finally found them in cancelled. Mostly Occupied. I was making a lot of mistakes at first, I would...

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

My initial question to Ken was where is the logic that marks a detection as "Occupied". The AI module or the Blue Iris program. I don't know, I didn't write the program.
  29. H

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Went back to Primary instead of ipcam-combined. There is no difference. Still getting moving objects marked as Occupied. Emailing with Ken, He thinks it might be having Ignore Static Objects without having Periodic AI Scan checked. Personally, it would be nice to have an up to date help file. I...

I'll try when I get home. Isn't Primary object detection using the whole COCO list, like the default objects setting in old version 5 used to do? Why would changing this make a difference? Isn't
