    What would you recommend to upgrade from Swann NHD-815 (2304x1296) POE cams under Blue Iris?

    Essential: PoE
    Preferred: Eye \ Turret style, or mini-bullet.
    Field of view: ~90
    Res: >= 3mp (less blur at night is preferred)
    Mini-SD storage.
    Will be placed under the second level eaves, range <10m
    Not a fan of the traditional IR as they attract spiders

    QUestion, i'm getting ready to upgrade my camera's , I currently have a dahua NVR42A16 nvr, since it's a little older does it not support newer better dahua cams?

    I'm new to surveillance cameras, and undecided between 2 cameras so I will try them both before committing to more. I want to buy HDW5231R-ZE and HDW5831R-ZE. Can you provide a quote for these 2. I hope combining them will save on some shipping costs.

    I would also consider a dome camera that can be moved around, however when mounted on a wall vertically, it would need to be able to point straight down...

    Hello Andy. If I remember correctly; you mentioned somewhere on this forum something about new Dahua products to come in/around April this year. Do you have any idea about possible new entry-level NVR's?
    (Let's say a successor or updated version of the NVR4104-4KS2 (and the 4108 and 4116) NVR's?

    Thanks. Apart from the physical (black versus white) housing of the NVR's; are there any more differences between the (old?) NVR4104-4KS2 and the newer NVR4108HS-4KS2?
