    Hello Andy, requesting quote/guidance for a 16 channel DVR (no hdd), 12 cameras needed for the project but for now only include 4 cameras (will order rest later). I need something that's reliable and easy, not to cheap or too expensive....please PM for your recommendations...I'm liking the turret style cameras w/ starlight and can't decide on the DVR between Hik/Dah and model#/. Thanks.

    Hi, I'm looking to get 2 cameras to start. I've got lots of questions:
    -Differences and price of IPC-HDW5231R-ZE and IPC-HDW5631R-ZE and IPC-HDW5831R-ZE
    -Price of IPC-HDW4231EM-AS and IPC-HDW4231EM-ASE
    -Is the IPC-HDW2231R-ZS the same as the IPC-HDW5231R-ZE minus audio?

    Need a quote on IPC-HDW5231R-ZE assuming that is still the lastest 2MP starlight from dahua. Pls give two quotes (don't need logos as long as they are the same cameras / firmwares) local pick up in HK or send to New York. If chinese version is cheaper (again same product), I will take that too (let me know the difference in price between chinese version and english version). Thanks.

    Andy, what is your policy on firmware updates? Seems like i see only one firmware update posted in the downloads but you sell many cameras.

    Where is "under vendor"? Right now the one firmware update is showing under "downloads".

    Also, if I buy from your strore (I've bought one and looking at more) -- I am then relying on you to provide future firmware updates or do I also have the option to download direct from Dahua?

    Hi Andy, I'm looking for a quote on a system but need help selecting components, if you don't mind assisting. From reading these forums I like the Dahua starlights (neighborhood is very dark) but don't know all the models. Looking for a balance between price/features. Here's what I think so far:

    Porch: mini dome
    Back porch: mini dome also?
    2-3 others: starlight eyeballs?
    NVR: 8 channel w/POE

    I am looking at the Dahua NVR5208-8P-4KS2 and NVR 5208-8P-4KS2E, what is the main difference between these two NVR? how much each of them in total, including shipping to Sydney, Asutralia.

    I really hope you can help me... I really screwed up.. I had my IPC-HDW5231R-ZE working perfectly but when messing with the settings I wanted to see what enabling HTTPS would do for me.. Well, now I cant log in to the camera! Please tell me there is a way to do a factory reset on this camera... man i feel stupid...

    I've been looking at both the IPC-HDW5231R-ZE and the IPC-HDW5831R-ZE. Does the IPC-HDW5831R-ZE come in black? I'm just starting out and this would be my first camera. Which of them would you recommend to start with?
