Did Dahua go out of business?

I already have a Dahua N52B2P2 8 Channel 4K ePoE NVR. If I want to buy a Dahua camera from Andy, do I just go to the EmpireTech-Andy seller on Amazon? Are the Amazon items Dahua equivalent even though the brand is EmpireTech? Thanks!

Yes

I think your question was answered earlier on:

Dahua Technology (Dahua Security) does not sell directly to installers or end users.
Dahua cameras should only be available through authorised distributors OR through OEM rebranding.

Dahua, Hikvision, and other Non-NDAA compliant manufactured security systems are no longer allowed to be sold in the USA. Dahuas USA Branch has been sold to/acquired by FoxLink which is NDAA compliant and supports ONVIF.

I use Montavue security cameras (they are Dahua OEM) and after calling their support line with some concerns about this ban they explained that they are switching manufacturers and are now going with FoxLink.
FoxLink luckily supports ONVIF so if my current NVR goes out it shouldn't be a huge deal to replace and prices will still be around the same!

I know ONVIF can have its limitations but its better than having to replace the entire damn system.

I have been super distracted in last 6 months to keep up to date of Dahua do's and dont's... but I'll keep buying from Andy directly or from his Amazon store. Until (if ever) that ship sails. Then alternatives will have to be found.
Have sold 5 or 6 Dahua NVR's in the last year with T54 cameras. Mind you.. at cost. That wins out over other vendors with specific camera parameters (AI, 1.8 sensor, firmware, etc). Customer happy with the pricing & quality of images. I hope, does not change for the next 25 years :)

The Luminys cameras come with a 7 year warranty

But I agree - it seems Andy has been very transparent about pricing and availability and gives a lot of support here on the forum, both firmware-wise and troubleshooting; I don't recall having to utilize the 2-year warranty ever in any of my installs and clients have been overall happy and satisfied.
His cameras have performed flawlessly over the years - and its been proven repeatedly
His presence on the forum is actually very positive

I heard that Luminys may not hang onto Dahua much longer and may switch OEMs (switching away from Foxlink) - that is never a good sign. Company is still maturing it seems.

Also note that Luminys does not even offer different fixed focal lengths - its either a 2.8mm or Varifocal model if it even exists on the dealer's website
