New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

The white has now also disappeared from Reolink official website?
I just looked at black AND white. Go here and choose the color from the drop-down.

Well boys, it looks like we got a new Doorbell coming our way:

no POE release yet.

Does anyone else have their Reolink POE Doorbell dropping audio? I successfully captured this jerk backing into my office neighbor's car:

but there's no audio. I know that the camera and BI are set up to record audio:

and later in the day I did get audio:

But it didn't catch it during this event.

When I exported the clip from BI to MP4 with Include Audio but without Re-encoding, and then play the collision clip in VLC, it shows a stream:

but clearly there's nothing to hear.

Anyone else have this issue?

Firmware is current.

Do you have a SD-Card that captures motion events? If so, go to ReoLink Client App and pick the date of the event:

Do you see the Audio in the timeline like this:
Actually, now that I'm in my quiet home, my Reolink video does have audio:

including a slightly audible crunch at impact. It's just about 1/10 the volume of the Amcrest camera's audio, which is why I thought there was none.

edit: it might also be my audio setup at work. I have external speakers hooked up, and it's possible that one of them is out. Here at home I'm listening straight out of my laptop, and it's clearly audible.

Thanks!

That is really strange. So it’s there in the US site but on the UK site only the black option is shown.

Had a look at the new stuff at CES and it looks like they are focusing on battery powered stuff, shame as we all know that battery powered doorbell can tend to miss things as they are too busy conserving power

I am planning to sell two Reolink PoE Doorbells soon. really wish it came with dedicated package cam at the bottom. Other than that this doorbell will always be remembered as one of the best video doorbells in recent memory. Even blows the new G6 Doorbell Entry from Ubiquiti out of the water.

We can't see the sun rise or set where we are at but I just like this pic in the mornings...

Yes, I know it's been a few days since this post, but here in Germany, you can still easily buy both the black and white models. Both the PoE and Wi-Fi versions. You can buy them directly from Reolink,

Reolink_Warenkorb.png

on Amazon, or from various other retailers.

The prices on Amazon are currently - as of now:
Reolink PoE Doorbell Black = € 99,99
Reolink PoE Doorbell White = 119,99
Reolink Wifi Doorbell Black = € 115,53
Reolink Wifi Doorbell White = € 115,53

By the way: Reolink itself (Reolink Official EU) is selling the black PoE or Wi-Fi model again on eBay as refurbished for € 71.09. Here's the condition description – the original German one:
Optisch: Neuwertiger Zustand ohne Gebrauchsspuren.
Technisch: Einwandfrei, der Artikel ist zu 100% funktionsfähig.
Gratis Versand & Rückversand.

I'm actually considering buying another refurbished Reolink Doorbell as a backup while they're still available. I would actually prefer to stick with Dahua and buy the new Dahua DB41AB Doorbell, but without ONVIF it doesn't make sense for me. I'm still wondering if it was intentional on Dahua's part that they omitted ONVIF from the DB41AB Doorbell, or if it might be added via a firmware update.
