What the Flock is going on here!

On one hand I'm not surprised. On the other hand I wonder how the camera can do all of this powered by a solar panel that isn't all that big.

It's not powered by a solar panel. It is battery powered. The panel just charges the battery during the day.

Let me rephrase. I don't see how the size of the solar panel(s) I see in the flock camera pictures can provide enough energy to keep a camera with all of the claimed capabilities running 24 hours a day. Solar production on winter days is pretty low, plus in some locations full overcast can last for a month or more.

Hard for me to listen to this guy's voice but sharing, don't cover cameras in autonomous taxis

I would bet this "feature" will find its way into personal vehicles as well - for safety of course. If you take your eyes off the road or yawn or any behavior it does not like, it will find a place to pull over until your behavior improves. No thanks!

It is and when you sign the paperwork for buying the car you give them the authority to do what ever they want with the data the car is collecting on you and if you don't sign the papers they won't sell you the car. You have no choice, buy a car and they watch you and collect data or you don't get a car, they don't care. Read about this a while back and soon every car will have it.

I would think some creative folks will figure out how to rip it our or disable it?

Personally I'll never buy a new car again. I should get another 200K miles out of my 2014 Toyota FJ

Once my Warranty is up, I plan to do a few changes on this 2025 RAM I bought.

First then to disable is this stupid Auto Start/Stop...you can presently turn it off but it resets back to Auto once you use your vehicle again...

Speaking of, was at the Dealer yesterday for a recall, I walked the lot and, wow, wow, wow, similar new truck I have is listed $20k more than I bought mine in 2024...this is not even MSRP.

Used vehicles too, stupid crazy pricing now...had a 2025 like mine with 20k miles and was 15K higher than what I bought mine new. That would be a crazy Gain for two years if I sold mine. But this is a Dealer so prices are always higher...

Bro-in-Law has a bunch of horses...we're good

Until they say you can't have them because of the methane emissions they produce - Rusty!

LOL

Lots of open land and he sits on a literal mountain top.
He has a 1000yd range

We just have to install anti-aircraft capability!

I will probably die before I need to buy a new one. We have a 2025 pickup and a 2026 sedan.

Hopefully he did not buy Ruby Ridge ;)

Well, when all our vehicles stop running in the future, we got our JD Gator, no computer on this thing, that I know of...

Have you seen the prices of these Side-by-Sides, or even Golf Carts now adays. Had a family Member pay $16k for a two seater Golf Cart. It has a back eat facing back, but it ain't no Crew Cab....

Really wished I had a '90 model truck or earlier...
