I'm not saying it will never happen, It Will.

I'm simply saying that my false alerts are so few and far between that its a complete non-issue.

Perfection does not exist in $200 cameras

That said it’s 1000% better than old fashioned pixel changing motion sensing. Lighting can make a huge difference.

I have alerts set at night too.
But I don’t rely on them or have them wake me up.

I use reliable perimeter sensors to do that.

Why don't you simply exclude the bush from the IVS Lines? Surely anything coming through it will trip the lines beyond? I'd be tempted to replace that IVS zone with 2, with each one drawn up to the edge of the bush but not over it.

I have.. it was a scene wide intrusion zone on a very zoomed in view from a Z4

That bush occupied a good chunk of scene real estate. Purpose is tight Face ID. Limited in point of aim due to the curvature of the street.

So 1-5 or so false alerts, that as I mentioned don’t wake me up anyway, wasn’t really something I gave a shit about

I find that moving the IR light away from the camera a bit (with an external IR) helps a lot since you aren't lighting up that spider like in your clip. I get no false positives on my cams that way (at least from the bugs...)
