ok... you have very extreme situation here.. But even here you can play with HLC.. or exposure compensation... and HDR on 3449 will compensate this much better that 5449. -

Simply don't use WDR / SSA.. On those WizColor cams they are not needed and they are degradation to new WizColor video processing (they disable it). -

I played with many WIzColor cams at different locations. They when used in 'normal' (not WDR or SSA) mode, are using totally new video processing algorithms, taken from mobile & sport camera world... Algorithm with always enabled full frame HDR, strong local gamma manipulation, LUT color... -

this is a video noise, result of low light, short exposure time, high ISO (analog gain on image sensor) and LOW noise reduction settings... Noise reduction (especially 3D NR) removes this a lot.. but it works only for static image... for moving objects it creates ghosts (results of 3D NR...- steve1225

if this PTZ model behave bad (we have here confirmation from many users), You should ask Andy to report this to Dahua... Also ask Andy to check for custom firmware version for this PTZ. SD5 is very popular line (something comparable to WizMind-S in fixed cams) - I'm 100% sure, there are many... -

you can use them everywhere, except places where you need strong optical zoom (due big distance - like from gate to building). For good camera with strong telephoto zoom, you need to choose 5442-Z4E (Dahua) / 54IR-Z4E (Andy shop) (2x-6x optical zoom comparing to mobiles). -

NVRs always are using both main and sub-stream. Recorded is only main stream, but sub-stream is for viewing and transmitting to client... You must always add bandwidth used by both..- steve1225

1. for that large installation You should use VMS not NVR. NVRs are too much underpowered.. 2. it's not how much network bandwith is used by camera. But how much bandwith is reported by camera as maximum which can send. Can you show what encoding settings (all for main/sub stream) you have on...- steve1225

only very old Dahua / HIK cameras are using NACL plugins for Firefox... newer are using webservice - some kind of web proxy server, run locally on Windows in background which converts Dahua video streams to format accepted by modern browsers in real time.. the only exception is IE - which... -
