    Thank you, I'll check it out. Need to read the documentation! It's interesting that you need to specify it to stop analyzing if detected, I would have thought that would be default behaviour. Sometimes I see that it does stop, but not all the time.

    Thanks for your sharing your experience. On these problematic cameras, i have it set to filter and look for people only. I'm surprised it's identifying my dog as a person a lot of the time. I've tweaked the settings on my cameras, giving them a bit more contrast etc. to see if it helps.

    Yes, I always leave the min/max size alone, unless there's a specific issue. I'll see if I can tune the cam settings a bit as well.

    I've dialed the cameras settings in somewhat. I'm running a manual shutter and capping the duration of the shutter. For IVS, I've never had much luck configuring the global setting.     So to wrap this up; I ended up using trip wires for one area and an intrusion zone for the other and was able to achieve what i wanted. Thanks to all for all the help.

    Thanks Wittaj. I totally get all that and appreciate you writing all of that. In my case however, the camera spits out Rule="000" for every rule that triggers. None of the names make it into the .xml and neither do any sort of number that helps me identify the rule that was triggered.
