    Thank you, I'll check it out. Need to read the documentation! It's interesting that you need to specify it to stop analyzing if detected, I would have thought that would be default behaviour. Sometimes I see that it does stop, but not all the time.

    Thanks for your sharing your experience. On these problematic cameras, i have it set to filter and look for people only. I'm surprised it's identifying my dog as a person a lot of the time. I've tweaked the settings on my cameras, giving them a bit more contrast etc. to see if it helps.

    Yes, I always leave the min/max size alone, unless there's a specific issue. I'll see if I can tune the cam settings a bit as well.

    Thanks Wittaj. I totally get all that and appreciate you writing all of that. In my case however, the camera spits out Rule="000" for every rule that triggers. None of the names make it into the .xml and neither do any sort of number that helps me identify the rule that was triggered.

    Wittaj, I appreciate the advice. It is the camera I'm having issues with IVS rules. The rules are triggering, it's just not sending any specific information via ONVIF. Everything seems to be Rule="000" I can try a factory reset and see if it gets better.....

    Well I figured I'd give SmartPSS Lite a try. When I bring up the live view of the camera, I don't see any of the rules, boundaries etc. showing on top of the video. I see in the settings that they should show as they have checkmarks next to them.

    OK, thank you. I can trigger on Rule="000" for the first entry, but I can't get anything out of the 2nd rule... I'm going to need to find a way to debug this. It's difficult to catch the ONVIF messages coming through I find. I also have no visual indication of the rules firing on the camera...

    OK thanks. I am using a PIN to unlock and get into windows.... So maybe that's a problem here? I may try to cheat and change the registry key. I see a "Service" key here. (Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Perspective Software\Blue Iris\Options)

    Hey The LPR camera that I have setup is solely for capturing plates. It works fine within BlueIris. I just haven't been able to get the database system working at all. I also just updates BI to 5.9.9.98 in the hopes that it would start working, but there was no change.
