    OH. there it is. silly me. and yes, that fixed it. minor annoyance, the local port has to be the same as the NAT port, so I can't have (wan):8881 forward to (lan):81 but thats not actually a big deal

    I'm trying to edit the IP address on the Settings / Web server tab, and its insisting my BI host is 192.168.0.204, except its not, it is 192.168.0.93, it simply won't let me edit the IP address on 'Enable the HTTP Server on port: ... I'm running 6.0.1.x (updating to 6.0.1.13 right now)... ok...

    and a few months later, after some wet weather, the not-cheap Microlight died :( They are made in Russia, and have been unobtanium I need a 30 degree max cone illuminator to match a 12mm lens on a 1/1.8 cam, and one thats got nice even light but isn't too bright as my Dahua 5442 is plenty...

    4K cameras have tiny pixels, which means much weaker night vision, many cameras try and compensate for that by having much brighter IR illuminators, but those attract spiders who make webs all over your lens every night.

    note thats just for the data side, both switches will need power still, eg, you can't daisy chain the PoE off the first switch, as one port on it won't have nearly enough power to run N ports on the 2nd switch.

    i did just fine for years cascading 4 and 8 port dumb POE switches on existing ethernet lines. many PoE cameras are only 100baseT anyways.
