    Version 6.0.1

    I guess I shouldn't be surprised, no @MikeLud custom models here (ipcam-dark, ipcam-animal, ipcam-combined, ipcam-general)? Ugh...like starting over from scratch with AI.

    Version 6.0.1

Very odd naming scheme: 6.0.1 has been out for about 6 days now (12/10/2025), but this seems to be 6.0.1.0, released today (12/16/2025), and has none of the update notes (AI bulit-in, etc..) shown above when viewed in the changelog link. I'll hold out for another couple of days personally.

    Version 6

My experience, and from what I see, true for most others: run the installation of BI6 (preferably using the full package installer from the website, but it supposedly also works from the internal upgrade package as well now), BEFORE uninstalling BI5. This will transfer/ duplicate all of your...

Has AI changed in the last few years?

I would say there have been no significant changes in the last year or two for CPAI (that would justify doing an updated installation), especially in light of the fact that Ken (the developer of Blue Iris) has announced that he will soon be implementing an integrated AI solution into BlueIris...

    Version 6

I did the "full installation" of one of the early cycle 5.9.9.9. builds (the Beta 6.0 series, which installs "Blue Iris" - note the lack of version name on the Desktop and in Add/Remove Programs), but provisionally kept my old install of BI 5.9.x.x (Blue Iris 5): not running of course, just...

    Version 6

This is expected behavior: you just need to re-enter your user credentials in the same location of the general settings of startup of BI. Can't say for sure, but it is probably due to the change of using a new (more conventional) location of the program directory.

New CodeProject.AI Object Detection (YOLO11 .NET) Module

I suspect he was hoping to see the additional models (combined, animal, dark) that are optimized for the YOLO11.NET module, not the older (but still compatible "5" versions).

    Version 6

No, the active license carries over, even across this version number change. Ken did bump up the initial new license and annual maintenance plan costs however.

    Zooz ZSE70 Outdoor Motion Sensor

You probably know this, but as a reminder to others; like any PIR motion detector, it is far more sensitive to motion "across" (perpendicular) to the field of view, rather than "head on" or parallel. Try to choose the mounting location with that in mind.

    Version 6 Beta

I appreciate the advice: I tried that as well, but with limited success, as I also use BI motion detection (with CPAI), in conjunction with allowing the in camera IVS (ONVIF) triggering. In most cases the CPAI triggers beat out the IVS ones (in terms of timing), but not always, so for these...

    Zooz ZSE70 Outdoor Motion Sensor

Close, but not that exact product: I have the older Zooz z-wave version (purchased January of 2020, no longer made apparently), connected to a Hubitat. Solid product for my purposes, still working, controls my front entry floodlight (and other lighting) by switching on an Innovelli Z-Wave...

    Version 6 Beta

As many others predicted, the list of changes for Version 6 seems rather underwhelming (IMHO). Personally,I was really hoping for a long awaited solution to getting (push/Pushover) alerts for situations where recording starts in a "non-critical" zone but eventually crosses into a zone of higher...

Is there a away to make Code Project more accurate?

Supposedly, Blue Onyx was moving into this space to potentially take over from CPAI. I can only find a handful of actual user references, most seem happy with it, but the low numbers make me nervous (low confidence level).

New CodeProject.AI Object Detection (YOLO11 .NET) Module

Just a conventional (bare metal) Windows 11 installation, no VM or Docker involved. I thought it was slightly odd to see the slower responses too, but questioned whether it might be due to the "non-optimized" models running under a newer branch of the newer underlying module. Not a huge...

New CodeProject.AI Object Detection (YOLO11 .NET) Module

I've been successfully running this YOLO11.NET module for a couple of days but with the various -v5 models (combined, dark and animal). It's fine, but statistically slower on average than the YOLO5.NET module on my i5-8500 machine: I was getting roughly 150ms times (long term average) on the...
