Critical Linux Warning: 800,000 Devices Are EXPOSED

Many older all-in-one routers used to include Telnet access, and some gave the option of LAN only or LAN + WAN. Most producers came to their senses long ago, but there may still be some configured that way and still in service.

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

I agree with the helpful comparison between the YOLOv8 and YOLOv10 for the most part, except in my case YOLOv10 seems to run slightly slower (on an Intel i5-8500 with integrated graphics 630). Distant/small object detection seems a bit worse with v10, often taking longer to detect until they...

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Wow, it must have been added in the last few days, as it wasn't part of the last round of additions and changes (to the aimodelpack) on 01/24/2026. Thanks, testing now.

Hmm...where did you find that one?

Thanks, those are impressive analysis times: which NVIDIA card is that? I'm making the assumption that no onboard (motherboard) GPU could achieve those times.

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Hmm...are you only referring to the truly "old" versions (that go back 2-3+ years), or have you been testing the "new" .onyx versions published roughly one week ago by @MikeLud1 (see post #1 Github link above)? The built-in BI AI only supports ONYX versions (with some specific version...

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

It might be helpful to revisit the subject of what each model uses for naming of objects (capitalization of person vs. Person), and/or how these interact with BI's use of shorthand macros (persons, vehicles, wildlife) and where each can be used. A matrix/table perhaps?

Send Pushover notifications with pictures and hyperlinks

Hmm...yes, in situations (certain cameras and/or schedules) where I'm using ONVIF triggers exclusively, the MEMO portion does come through on the Pushover alert, but not at all on camera schedules that use a combined BI motion (with the new built-in AI) alongside ONVIF triggers, or even on the...

Send Pushover notifications with pictures and hyperlinks

I have been successfully using Pushover and this method for well over three years, but noticed that (starting roughly six months ago) I no longer receive the "&MEMO" portion of the alert. I haven't changed the formatting of my Pushover curl command at all over this period, but I don't receive...

Just upgraded to 6.x.20 version; CPU @ 110% now, most cameras no signal; help!

Yes, yours will have it, no question...every version since December 18, 2025 (Version 6.0.1.2, 6.0.1.3, 6.0.1.4 etc...) has had the option to use the built-in AI.

Yes, 3 is acceptable . You might also need to check that AI didn't get turned on unintentionally on each camera, including facial recognition and license plate settings.

Try going to the main (overall settings) BI tab for AI, and turn down maximum connections from the default 30 or 40 down to 2 or 4, particularly if you are using a system with only an iGPU, not a dedicated graphics card.

    Onvif alerts

Please report this to Ken (the developer of BI). I am seeing this as well on the most recent versions, it seems to be running the internal BI AI analysis on ONVIF events, even when we have specifically told BI to only run AI on "motion and overlap". I would bug him myself, but I don't want to...

    Reducing CPU Usage

Err...yes, that was mentioned in my post as well, the fan should remain fixed/stationary, both to preserve the bearings and to avoid turning the fan into a (voltage) generator.
