    Wonder why he added these checks to the running code rather than when doing a new install or installing updates. To me that would be a more logical place rather than periodic checks in the running code?

    Do these price increases only apply to the US? I’m in the UK and have purchased all my cams from Andy, no complaints on the cams and the service that Andy provides.

    On my test rig which runs on an Intel i5-6500 since updating to v6 I've been getting warnings in the logs along the lines of "h264_qsv setup failed: 483 ...". Did some googling and it's associated with video acceleration. On the test rig I have the default Hardware Acceleration set to Disabled...

    I would only ever contemplate using AI if my cams don’t support something like IVS. For me with my Dahua camera IVS just works come rain or shine so I’ll carry on using it.

    It’s about a smooth as it’s ever going to get. Due to a change of the base BI folder the only real thing that needs to be done is select the option to run BI as a Service and enter the creds.
