The things found on modern gasoline engines were "race-car" stuff of not that many years ago! Fuel injection replaced the calibrated fuel leak called a carburetor. Low tension, thin rings call for a premium grade of oil. Carbon is a killer of Direct injection injected engines too. This calls for... -

NO IT WAS THE EPA!!! President Trump rolled back the EPA Automotive regs back to 2020 specs. What has killed us with all of the itty-bitty motors, was the CO2 emissions as the catalytic converters have scrubbed about everything else out. Also cuss the bastards at California Air Resources Board...
