    Panoramic PTZ

Those lines are still terrible, I'm surprised you capture anyone. It will probably miss people not on the pavement nearest and even then I'm surprised it triggered on those. If they can pass behind the lines, they won't trigger it. They need to be grounded. You're still thinking 2D. eg. I'd...

Should I remove my front gate?

Awkward when Amazon deliver a sofa........ In all seriousness, it will look better without. IT just depends on your neighbourhood which only you know. As I posted previously on here it is possible to get some very high security "oridnary" doors with ultra strong multipoint shoot bolts, steel...

Blue Iris Windows 11 or Windows Server?

No key appears locked into Windows hardware anymore. Windows Keys have been universal for some time. Only difference is between the version ie pro etc. ie each version has it's own key. Millions of people appear to have the same key therefore.

You can do that anyway by setting up remote access to BI via a VPN (not the paid for type but the type built into a router).

Getting JPG from fast moving object

You do realise that CCTV cameras don't produce pictures you can zoom into well? (A PTZ can but only because it optically zooms in before the capture not into the final picture). If you take a picture using a regular wide angle camera, then there's virtually no chance of it ever being anything...

New 5MP Starvis 2 sensor announced

Only issue is it's not 4k. 5mp almost certainly means it's going to be 1080P (4mp after binning).

    Orllo z10 cam- Blue iris

Have you manually selected the stream profiles from the drop down? In the 1st screenshot they don't look right and in the 2nd screenshot no address is selected at all.

Struggling to know what to look for!

Maybe buy 2 decent cameras from the recommended list, and save up the difference to replace the 3rd later down the line. Sometimes it's buy cheap regret later.

Struggling to know what to look for!

IP Cam talk has a store which is Empire Tech. Empire Tech also has a store on Amazon. Empire Tech is mostly re-branded Dahua (I think he stocks the odd Hikvision) if you wanted to do the Dahua route instead - even then they sell a range of cameras so you might want to bear in mind the commentary...
