    Thank you for posting these, the effort is appreciated. Now to my eyes the Pro look better at night with the truck footage? quite a lot better, sharper, more focused. I might be tempted to try this firmware, if I can install it, historically I have not had any luck with official Dahua firmware...

    You might have just come up with the new target Dahua tag line.... "No Special Detection Mechanisms, just Good Night and Day image quality!" - amen to that I say, not too much for one to ask. Currently for some 'Pro' cameras, the situation is somewhat different.... shortly after the break...

    Reolink on this occasion are likely a step up from the T54Pro :facepalm: (that is a partial joke as a T54Pro owner...sadly) What annoys me more than anything is that nobody takes ownership, neither the manufacturers or the resellers, sometimes there may be exceptions of course, very rarely though.

    I am aware, the real question is, who will Dahua listen to. End of the day they are all Dahua cameras, OEM or otherwise, sadly customer service these days is lacking on all fronts. Buyer beware as they say.

    If these units do use the Omnivision sensor and perform similarly to the S3, it raises a fair question: will Dahua show the common courtesy of offering them to existing T54Pro owners as a goodwill gesture, given the costs those owners incurred while effectively testing a production prototype?

    Didn't see that coming, nice work though. Being retired admin I know that will have hurt more than most, we are often looking for the more complex answer though, it happens.
