    I would also suggest that once you get BI running to copy the license key to a text file and store it in a safe place (USB Drive) perhaps along with a copy of the current or recent full install file!

    If you are trying to start BI by clicking a desktop icon, I would suggest that you use the start menu <Start>, <Blue Iris>, <Blue Iris Admin> and see if it starts up properly!

    I just did the upgrade to 6.1.1.4 on my three BI systems and it had no issues, are you using NGROK on your system, I do not use NGROK!

    Well that is what happens if you decide to Beat Test for MS by loading the previews! If BI ran on Linux I would use it on my BI systems, but it currently does not; although I am starting to use Linux Mint on a number of devices that are just used for email and web browsing!

    In your camera settings the iframe number is not correct, that would possibly cause a delay switching from sub to main, you should make sure that the "Frame Rate" matches the "Iframe" number for both the main stream and the sub stream (BI is much happier if they match)

    I have been using 6.x from the start with AI and it works fine for me, just using detection for people and cars, I do not use faces or ALPR as I have no use for it, for me it has been pretty much trouble free. What are you using CodeProject to detect, there are some things that it may do better...

    The Faces and ALPR always show, I think that the logic to only show what is being used was not put into the program, if it is really bugging you then send a message to support and ask if it can be removed if not being used!

    If the camera is brand new does he not have to initialize/Configure it using the ConfigTool utility from the Empire Tech web site, with the ConfigTool he can set the password and change the IP without having to be on the camera subnet? Download Softwares
