    I notice that in BI3 that I don't have a "Current Group" view for "All cameras or index" like It does in the BI desktop console, is there a setting that I need or is this a bug? I am using Version 5.9.9.81 and windows 11 pro with a chrome browser for UI3

    Sorry I have never used or installed BI V4; Blue Iris 5 was released on May 31, 2019. You are using a version that might be 6 years old, I hope that there are some people here that remember how V 4 works!

    Just tested on Version 5.9.9.73 and created a new group and it is working fine and showed in UI3 immediately, how are you adding/creating the new group name? Are you using the "Camera Setting", "General" tab to add the new group name to an existing camera? I am pretty sure that Groups will not...

    Are your 70' and 200' ethernet cables pure copper or CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum)? Do the cameras work if you connect them close to the POE switch?

    Is BI running on your PC? Have you tried to reboot the BI PC? Did BI update recently & what version of BI are you currently running? Are you trying to access BI with UI3 from your local lan or from the internet? A few details might be useful to make some suggestions as to the problem!

    I was testing one and the signal to BI was virtually instantaneous from what I could see, I did not do any definitive testing of the actual delay, but I am sure it was not longer than about 1 second!

    It does not do any recording, it is nothing more than an input module that can trigger BI to record or alert etc. The first one has the ability to take inputs and do outputs from BI, the second one only does input, the inputs are isolated so that there is no direct signal into the computer!

    They also make other isolated inputs, this one does not have the relay outputs, just inputs SeaDAC Lite - USB to 4 Isolated Inputs There is a reference to using these with BI, search the help file for "Sealevel"

    This device will probably do what you want, there may also be other ways to do this! SeaDAC Lite - USB to 4 Isolated Inputs; 4 Form C Relays It's a bit pricey but would solve you problem with no extra work!

    Is it possible that something is overloading the network or the Promax VM at that time and preventing the signal from the camera from reaching the BI server, not sure if this type of thing would trigger a log event or not!

    Just a suggestion, you might want to consider getting a UPS so that power outages don't crash the BI server! As for your drives overallocated, some screen captures of the setting for you storage drives might help to see if there is something that can be suggested!

    What happens to camera files when you change camera name?

    If you still want access to them you can shut down the BI service and rename the files, then do a DB rebuild, there are a number of free utilities that will do the file rename for you!
