I've been reading about Macrium Reflect 8 Free causing security messages when you try to view a disk in window explorer which I have been seeing. A Windows 11 workaround seems to have security risks. So, I could either buy the paid Macrium version or try something else. I see where there is a recommended program called Hasleo Backup Suite Free. Anybody tried it? I think I will download it and give it a try.

I had great results 3 or 4 times in the past few years using Macrium Reflect 8 Free to clone an existing HDD to a new SSD, even going from a 1TB HDD to a smaller 500GB Samsung SSD. That said I did not use the backup features.
I used to use Acronis, but after upgrading windows the version I had wouldn't work, and I don't like the cost and license agreement they have. So I went with the free version of Aomei. It fulfilled my needs except it would restore individual folder or files., so I would always had to do a full restore. So I recently switched to Hasleo backup suite. So far I have been happy with this.
I installed it today and backed up a couple of pc's, it worked very well backing up, I haven't tried restoring anything. I imagine it will work ok restoring too.
