gotcha, i bumped this in hope there was a new firmware update not posted in this thread.
 
I just got my new camera Loryta IPC-T5442TM-AS 2.8mm Fixed Lens 4MP Starlight and it cam with updated firmware. I also found this link to the updated firmware.

IPC-HX4XXX-Volt_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000000.10.R.191118.zip

Here are the latest new firmware for the new 4.0 models(some fixed lens only). Attention, please double check before you make the update and make sure you are use the right firmware for right models which i list below ONLY. It has been tested by some members here, So we decice to release this...

Is the 2.8mm version going to be available on Amazon again? I bought the 3.6mm version two days ago but I think I have a use for the 2.8mm as well now, and it's not there.
 
Weird, this is one of my best IR cameras. Great image, no motion blur…I wonder what tricks Trey did to the FW since this review?
 
My 5442-S2 6mm arrived today and has this update installed. Is there an update that fixes some of the bugs, or should I leave it as it is?

It depends, do you want/need smart IR? That is the most current update for the camera with smart IR. There is a newer firmware (2/27/25) that has no smart IR. I am running on my 6mm 5442-S2 (General_IPC-HX5XXX-Volt_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.840.0000000.26.R.231221) no smart IR.

Thread 'IPC-T54IR-ZE $115 each'

Hello all i have like 20 White IPC-T54IR-ZE (exact model IPC-T5442T-ZE White) that i got from Andy ob Amazon (empire-tech) they were purchased for my parents new construction about a year ago they were installed but pulled out since they wanted a different color and end up going full unifi, so they are in new condition.

NOTE: THESE ARE NOT S3 model they are IPC-T5442T-ZE

Price is $115 shipped per camera, i can do a bit cheaper if you buy more than 1

Im in FL and pickup is available if wanted
