DMSS app update-now problem accessing saved clips

They updated the app last night and everything is functioning correctly.


Good afternoon,

I have NVR 8ch 2AI with multiple Dahua cams. I use DMSS for remote view on iPhone 17 Pro max.. iOS 26.4. all worked excellent until DMSS app updated yesterday( damn auto update). Version 2.4.11 with build date of 3/31/26. Now when I try to retrieve a saved clip, I get the below error on all of my cameras. LIVE view works on all cams. I tried deleting and re install app. No luck... Maybe I should try restarting NVR?? Anyone else?

I havent used DMSS in a long time. sorry can't be much more help.

Thanks for the input.. I just tried a restart on the NVR but no change. Weird. It def corresponded with the app update... darn it...lol hopefully someone else has some suggestions.
 
Sorry to say, but the answer is dont auto update DMSS.. or any app for that matter

Its almost clockwork that every other DMSS update breaks something. I wait to hear about issues before I update, usually every 6+ months or so

Yeah, man. I know you say that. My stupid ass mistake and somehow had the auto update on. I’ll update when somehow this gets fixed. I’ve tried everything I know how to do, but it’s still broken.

For shits and giggles you could try the Amcrest version of DMSS and see if you get functionality back. It's either on the App Store's Amcrest View Pro or Amcrest View Pro 2
 
Fancy coming across this thread, I just saw a video on YouTube about SideStore and downgrading iOS apps to previous versions !
