I almost always get Premium at this station-- usually 10 cents/gallon cheaper. Why Premium? to NOT have ethanol in my gas.

One of these days I should look. It changes so much that I've stopped looking at it. I just pump and pay and go. and then bitch. and then forget. My Gf announces the prices (outloud) of 1/2 the fucking stations we pass.
But she drives 80 miles round trip to the Casino 3x week. I drive 10 miles round trip to work and barely buy gas every two weeks.

I got bad news for you. 91 octane has ethanol in it unless you buy an E0 formulation.

Higher ethanol fuels are a scam perpetrated on the consumer to indirectly subsidize the corn “farmer”, which in the US are owned mostly by large corporations. Ethanol based fuels have a lower heating value, are corrosive to engine parts, dry out seals, etc. Thus you actually get worse gas mileage, burn more fuel, and emit more pollutants per mile. Not to mention the harmful fertilizers and pesticides used for growing the crops.

You want to find the truth in anything, follow the money.

87 Octane E10 was $3.69/gal yesterday in Addision, AL.

I failed to note the price of Ethanol-free but I will find out next week when I go to get some for the 4 stroke mower and the 2 stroke blower and weedtrimmer than require a 40:1 gas-to-oil mix.

Correct--- Sams and Costco have ethanol. Others may or may not. Many stations here clearly label their fuels that have NO ethanol. Some stations have no-ethanol Regular for about 30 cents more.

EDIT-- and think about that for a second... NOT having ethanol in the gas costs MORE. Does that make sense? That is the power of the corn/ethanol lobby and massive government subsidizing of that industry as a "green renewable fuel". That right there would be a great $5 to $6 BILLION dollar savings in government spending, and overall ~$8 Billion per year in higher fuel costs to consumers.
