Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

Take out some more and more will continue to rise.
Its not gonna be over with air power and missiles alone.

My point and that of that post, is that we're sleep walking into a possible nuclear mess. This has always been the concern over a ME war
Russia, China, US, Israel, others, it only takes one miscalculation.
The post points to the fact that if you can take out strategic targets with hypersonics, the receiving team may decide they have no choice but to use nukes.

So far Iran has been very good about escalation in response to attacks on them and announcing them. They have shown restraint. For instance they didnt hit O&G infrastructure until Israel did. They didn't shoot at Dimona until the US hit their nuke facility last night.

Its being discussed heavily online by War folks. Not defending them, just observing what many others are seeing. By and large they are in a defensive posture and its become a tit for tat exchange

I still have no doubt, as I've said 3X now, that US/Israel will "prevail" whatever that looks like. And I dont want to see our guys shot up.

But this will not end soon, there;s not likely to be any "awakening" among the Iranian population and at best it will be a long insurgency for months/years to come

Pretty much everyone is saying the same thing

BREAKING: Netanyahu addresses the nation after an Iranian missile struck near Israel's nuclear facility in Dimona, wounding dozens:"This is a very difficult evening. We are determined to continue striking our enemies on all fronts."Iran just proved it can hit the most sensitive target in Israel. That changes the calculus for everyone. The longer this war drags on, the closer both sides get to a line that can't be uncrossed.
(Note: he didn't "address the nation on TV or video. Its referencing a Tweet ffs)
==========

Trump talks about an off-ramp in Iran, and almost on cue, the Natanz nuclear facility gets hit by Israel. Iran’s response? Fire missiles toward Dimona, Israel’s nuclear site. Why this matters: when both sides start targeting nuclear infrastructure, they’re not thinking of ending the war… they’re raising the stakes.

Been waiting for this.

There has been speculation since it happened.
No details, WashPost first reported, beyond conventional thinking of their capability, closer and arguably better targets.... it all seemed too....clean and rushed
:idk:

Nah, surely they wouldn't would they? Just to drag Europe into the war... .........wait....

Araghchi slams the door shut for good:

"Negotiations with the Americans are over forever.. a bitter experience and betrayal after promises of no attack!

There's no room anymore to talk with the Americans, as they deceived us with promises of no attack, and even after making significant progress in the negotiations, they decided to attack us anyway. The experience is extremely bitter, and trust is completely nonexistent. The regional war slams the doors of diplomacy shut for good!

It only takes one to get everyone involved.

See how this can escalate…. Lots of players now ..

And you'd be hearing pretty much all kinds of unsettling demands once Iran has nukes.
