I don't know if I'm just being dense, but I read the SEC statement earlier and it just didn't explain anything to me...

SEC Clarifies the Application of Federal Securities Laws to Crypto Assets

So, I guess the gist of it is crypto is not a security?...

Reading/Interpreting SEC rules is much like browsing instructions for brain surgery. It aint easy or fun

The selloff of PM's has accelerated. Selling profitable assets to pay for losing ones.
Predicted and expected when the rest of the portfolio is getting trashed and the big boys need to raise funds for margin calls.

Markets will be interesting in the coming weeks.

Haven’t had time to dig into it, off to a meeting so will be later tonight.
The one pager I saw yesterday was typical high on rhetoric, short on details.

Thats my understanding. And its not just whales and big funds, its also Sovereigns.
Got to pay for those bombs and oil somehow.
The guys I listen to view it as a liquidity issue. You have to sell what you have to sell to pay the bills.

Could be Warren Buffet and a few others are the only ones sitting on so much cash they are better able to weather the storm,
I seem to recall Warren was in a similar position in 2008 and bailed out a number of big companies... he's waiting to go bottom fishing again.
